On August 22, 2024, the film Suhaagan intensified as the main characters faced a crucial moment. The episode starts with Prabha apologizing to Swara, revealing that she will have to make a tough choice between her son and her children’s wife. Prabha admits that the reason behind her actions is the desire to protect her son, even if it means putting her life in danger. He assures Swara that this is the only way to save both parties involved. Swara, after pressing the button, saw that nothing bad happened to Prabha, which showed her belief that Prabha would not harm herself intentionally.
Swara realizes that Prabha is just a mother trying to protect her children. Gratefully, Swara thanks Prabha for her courage, believing that it was Vedant who finally figured out her life. Prabha, on the other hand, expresses relief that Swara is dead and promises to expose Koel, who she believes is responsible for the chaos. Later, Swara confronts Koel while enjoying halwa. Swara tells Koel that she prepared the dish herself and assures him that it is not poison. However, it turned out that he had drugs – the same ones that were used to treat his grandmother’s heart attacks. Swara then asks Koel to confess his crime to Vedant within 15 minutes. However, Koel does not trust Swara and rejects her threat.
Swara, who is determined to make Koel pay for his actions, reminds him that she tried to kill him many times but failed every time. Swara believes that she will be successful in revealing the nature of Koel, insisting that God’s help always favors the righteous. Later, Koel panics and runs to find Vedant. When Vedant saw a brother and sister playing, while the sister was asking for food, he felt uneasy and gave them money. A call from Koel, who told him to return home quickly, ended his pity period. When he returns home, Koel apologizes to Vedant and admits that he has been abusing him since childhood. He confesses to him that he is responsible for the rift between Prabha and Rudra and Vedant’s separation from his family.
Koel’s statement was shocking, as he admitted that his behavior was motivated by financial gain. Vedant, initially in disbelief, listens as Koel narrates in detail how he tried to kill Swara. Bua, another character in the house, expressed his hatred towards Koel for trying to destroy his sister’s house.
When Vedant confronts Swara, Koel tries to play the victim, saying that Swara forced him to confess by threatening to give him heart attack medicine. Koel further accuses Swara of always blaming him to make her guilty. Frustrated, Koel says that he will leave the house if Swara continues to blame him. Vedant, torn between his loyalty to his mother and his wife, finally decides to end his relationship with Swara. He accused Swara of disrespecting her mother and, in a dramatic display, broke the marriage bond.
Bua reprimands Vedant for taking a decision in anger, reminding him that he will have to answer for his actions in front of Rudra. However, Vedant is firm in his decision, saying that a daughter-in-law should respect her mother-in-law and that Swara has crossed the line. The episode ends with Vedant kicking Swara out of the house, leaving the viewers in doubt about the future of the characters. The intense drama and emotional conflict of this episode left a lasting impression, paving the way for more twists and turns in the sequels to come.
