Kayanat pressures Kazi Sahab to commence the wedding rituals, but he firmly refuses to proceed without Ibaadat’s consent. Just then, Ibaadat enters the conversation and unequivocally states that she will not allow the marriage to happen. She criticizes Mannat’s lack of manners, stating that she doesn’t know how to behave properly or live a disciplined and humble life. A heated argument erupts between Ibaadat and Mannat as Ibaadat attempts to halt the wedding.
Initially, Mannat fails to understand why there should be any resistance to the marriage. However, Ibaadat points out that although they are not full sisters, they share the same father, making it against Islamic law for them to marry the same man. Kazi Sahab confirms this, emphasizing that until Subhan grants a divorce to his ex-wife, the marriage cannot take place. Mannat becomes agitated at this revelation and demands that Kazi Sahab proceed with the wedding. In retaliation, Ibaadat slaps Mannat again. Ibaadat is shocked to see how much Mannat resembles Ghazal, who manipulated the entire family to sever Dua’s relationship with her husband.
Although Ibaadat is Ghazal’s daughter, her behavior aligns more with Dua’s values. In stark contrast, Mannat, despite being Dua Akhtar’s daughter, lacks any of her admirable qualities. The comparison to Ghazal infuriates Mannat further, as she finds herself caught between Ibaadat and Subhan. Subhan intervenes in their argument, insulting Ibaadat for her desperation. Ibaadat refuses to give her husband a divorce, as he is entirely swayed by Mannat’s influence and is unable to distinguish right from wrong. Despite Subhan’s impatience, Ibaadat reminds him that obtaining a divorce will take at least three months. She confidently challenges herself to reveal Mannat’s true nature within that timeframe, promising that if she fails, she will leave the house and apologize to everyone.
Kayanat rejects Ibaadat as her daughter-in-law, and Ibaadat vows not to tolerate her wicked mother-in-law’s behavior any longer. She is determined to hold accountable those who support Mannat in her schemes and believes she can open Subhan’s eyes to the truth.
Mannat struggles to accept that her marriage remains unfulfilled. Haunted by Ibaadat’s threatening words, she becomes consumed by anger and frustration. The insults she has endured previously linger in her mind, leading her to contemplate self-harm. Just then, Subhan enters her room, attempting to soothe her, but calming her proves difficult. Mannat feels that Ibaadat has ruined her life, even taking her mother away from her, and she vows not to let this situation go easily.
