Megha and the other women prepare to leave, and he warns Arjun that there will be consequences for their actions. He instructs Arjun to head to the inquiry room before departing. Megha expresses her concern to Arjun, saying she only wanted to protect his job and wonders if she made things worse. Arjun reassures her that he won’t lie about the situation and is fine with whatever happens, as he has no regrets. He then goes inside, leaving Megha to pray for everything to turn out well. Suddenly, a glass shatters, and Megha remarks that Goldie said it’s an omen of bad luck.
After a while, Arjun returns to Megha. She inquires about the outcome of the meeting. Arjun informs her that he received a warning and a suspension, but nothing more. Overjoyed, Megha thanks God, relieved that he won’t lose his job. She admits she wouldn’t have forgiven herself if that happened. Arjun acknowledges that she saved his job and praises her bravery, to which she responds that she drew her courage from him. K. P. Talwar then tells Arjun to meet with his wife, but Arjun mentions he has something to take care of and leads Megha away.
Outside the police station, Surendar asks Megha where she has been. She explains that she was at Arjun’s inquiry commission office. Surendar questions whether she lied during the process, but Arjun interjects, saying that Megha saved his job without lying. He suggests they go inside and wrap up Manoj’s case. Surendar agrees, noting that they will handle the case, understanding Arjun’s family’s views on Megha.
The following day, K. P. Talwar tells Arjun he lacks the motivation to work. He shares that he asked Megha for help, which resulted in her saving Arjun’s job, but he doubts he will receive his promotion. Meanwhile, Megha burns items associated with Manoj, reflecting on how difficult it was to let go but feeling relieved afterward. Surendar hugs her, commending her for doing the right thing.
Arjun’s mother confronts him, insisting her husband is not at fault. She accuses him of allowing Megha to ruin everything and questions if there’s something romantic between him and “that abandoned woman.” Arjun defends Megha, stating she is not abandoned and insists there’s nothing between them.
Meanwhile, Megha receives a parcel, prompting Ranjeeta to ask what’s inside. Megha opens the box to find a letter and begins to read it, her expression shifting as she notices its contents.
