The Tantrik reflects on how his last attempt to harm Pinni failed, so he has devised a new plan. He tracks Pinni as she leaves with her friends in a car and instructs his men to follow them.
Pinni arrives home, and her friends bid her farewell. She reassures Vikram that she is safe, though Vikram remains silent. She tells him not to say anything and heads inside. Meanwhile, the Tantrik orders his men to keep watch over Pinni’s house.
Inside, Pinni asks Sumitra not to speak since she is already on edge. Sumitra insists she hasn’t said a word. Suguna urges Pinni to wear a black thread for protection, but Pinni declines. Sumitra pleads with her to do it for their sake, and Pinni retorts that her family can be happy even if she isn’t. Reluctantly, she tells Suguna to tie it on her wrist.
Pinni then tells Vikram that he still appears fearful, explaining that fear cannot be cured. She acknowledges his concern for her well-being but dismisses the notion of black magic. She advises him to rest and put his worries aside before going inside.
Vikram thinks to himself that he can’t share his experiences with Pinni since she refuses to believe them. Suddenly, the house catches fire, and he quickly works to resolve the situation. Suguna reassures everyone that nothing will happen to Pinni because of the protective barrier they have set up.
Meanwhile, the Tantrik informs Raka that he has located Pinni. Raka cautions him against revealing this to Netra just yet. The Tantrik challenges Raka, asking what could possibly be more important to Netra than Pinni. Raka insists they shouldn’t disturb Netra and vows to speak with her, stressing the importance of not losing Pinni. Meanwhile, Netra prepares herself for a confrontation.
Later, Pinni drifts off to sleep, but the Tantrik commands his men to eliminate everyone in the house except for Pinni. Sumitra approaches Vikram, sensing his worry. He confesses that he fears for Pinni’s safety. Sumitra reassures him, promising they will fight to protect Pinni, even if it means risking their own lives.
Waking up, Pinni notices her friends have fallen asleep and wonders what would happen if a ghost were to attack her. She tells herself that she is not sleepy at all.
As the Tantrik and his men attempt to breach the house, they are thwarted by the protective barriers. Vikram and the others feel a sense of unease. Suguna asks who is outside, and the Tantrik spots a lemon, realizing it’s the protective barrier preventing their entry. Vikram and Sumitra ask Suguna what is going on. Suguna explains that someone tried to cross the protective barrier, leading Sumitra to question if the Shaitan has returned.
