At the police station, the detective convinces Surili to throw him out of the palace. While Ambitai asks Samar why he took the bullet. Samar says that he deliberately saved Rani Sahiba as he did not want her to die quickly. He says he wants to punish him. He added that it was this bullet that allowed him to enter the royal palace. Ambitai is worried about Monty exposing Samar. The latter is sure that no one will believe him because he is an alcoholic.
