Shalu attempts to engage Ayush in conversation, but he consistently tries to avoid her. Determined, Shalu makes Ayush swear on her to promise that he will talk to her. Ayush finally asks her what she wants to know. She inquires about his recent behavior. Ayush explains that he believes they shouldn’t be close friends. Shalu challenges him, asking why he feels that way. He replies that if they were truly good friends, she wouldn’t act superior in front of him. Shalu defends herself, insisting she’s never acted that way, but Ayush remains firm and walks away. Ansh, who has been listening nearby, approaches Shalu to apologize for overhearing their conversation. He suggests giving Ayush some space, as he tends to get upset easily. Shalu retorts that she doesn’t need his advice about Ayush, as she knows him well. With that, she leaves.
Later, the atmosphere at the Oberoi mansion is festive, and Ayush is dancing with everyone. The pandit announces that it’s time for the Ganesh immersion. Ayush and Rishi carry the Ganesh idol, and Ayush invites Lakshmi to join them. She agrees, and together with Rishi, they perform the immersion in the tub.
Meanwhile, Neelam meets with a lawyer at home while Malishka sits beside her. Neelam expresses her desire to have Parvati in the house but not Lakshmi. She asks the lawyer about the likelihood of obtaining Parvati’s custody. The lawyer explains that Lakshmi has done nothing wrong and has shown herself to be an ideal woman. Neelam interrupts, insisting she doesn’t want to hear praise for Lakshmi and demands a solution. The lawyer advises that if Neelam wants Parvati to stay, Lakshmi will need to remain as well. Frustrated, Neelam asks the lawyer to find another way.
Kiran pays a visit to Malishka, sharing that she had a nightmare where Rishi and Lakshmi were together, and Neelam told Malishka to leave Rishi’s life. Kiran urges Malishka to accept the reality that Rishi and Lakshmi are meant to be together and that it’s time for her to let go. Malishka, angered by Kiran’s words, retorts that Kiran shouldn’t speak that way and storms off.
Rishi approaches Lakshmi, questioning how she can consistently do the right thing yet act differently regarding them. Lakshmi replies that Rishi is only pretending to care about her because he wants Parvati. When Rishi asks her why she believes that, she reveals she overheard Neelam instructing him to do whatever it takes to persuade her to let them have Parvati. Rishi, feeling misunderstood, tries to walk away, but Lakshmi stops him, challenging him to face the truth. They end up arguing and decide to stop talking, both walking away frustrated, while Parvati and Rohan observe the exchange.
In an effort to bring Rishi and Lakshmi closer, Parvati and Rohan concoct a plan to pretend to be sick, hoping to spark concern between them. They even go so far as to put onions in their armpits to fake an illness. Malishka overhears their scheme.
Karishma notices Malishka looking disturbed and inquires about it. Malishka tells her about Parvati’s plan to unite Rishi and Lakshmi. Karishma laughs it off, dismissing it as childish behavior, and advises Malishka not to overthink things. Malishka argues back at Karishma, and when Kiran arrives, Malishka quickly leaves.
Later, Ayush joins everyone at the dining table. As Lakshmi serves food, Rishi declares he isn’t hungry and walks away.
