Lalita orders Ritu to wipe off the vermilion, but Akshay intervenes, warning Lalita not to push her. Hema steps in, urging Lalita to bless her daughter instead. Lalita, however, insists on speaking to Ritu alone. Hema then tells Akshay to let go of Ritu, reminding him that Ritu doesn’t love him.
Meanwhile, Kalyani visits Ganga and instructs the maid to ensure she gets her medication on time. As Kalyani is about to leave, Ganga grabs her hand and, in a moment of vulnerability, calls her “mother.”
Sakshi phones Abhay, telling him to forget about her. Ritika then informs Abhay that their mother has brought Ganga home and reassures him that she stands by his decision, no matter what.
In a private conversation, Lalita scolds Ritu for making a bad decision. Ritu, however, firmly tells Lalita that she doesn’t want to be with Akshay. Lalita counters by mentioning how Ganga is now married to Abhay and is living a luxurious life. She then reveals her confusion about Akshay, who looks exactly like Abhay, and instructs Mama to investigate this unusual resemblance. Mama, having connections in the municipal corporation, agrees to look into it.
Back at the house, Ganga tries to speak to Abhay, but he coldly walks away, ignoring her completely.
Later, Mama advises Lalita to keep Ritu from making any hasty decisions, as he needs more time to gather information. Despite Mama’s request, Hema insists they go to Vaishnavi, refusing to back down. Lalita, sensing Hema’s fear of the truth, tries to cancel the trip, but Hema remains adamant. Just then, Mama receives a call, confirming the information he had been waiting for.
Meanwhile, Kalyani tries to find a spot for Ganga at a women’s shelter, but there is no availability. Frustrated, Abhay lashes out at his mother, demanding that they resolve this issue quickly. Kalyani urges him to be patient, but Abhay declares that he wants to end his marriage. Ganga soon learns from Bulbul that Abhay is planning to divorce her. Stunned, she confides in Bulbul, wondering how her husband could even think of ending their marriage.
