Ganga confides in Lalita, expressing her deep pain and fear that her marriage is on the verge of breaking apart. Lalita tries to console her, assuring Ganga that she will speak to her mother-in-law and resolve the situation. However, when Lalita approaches Amma Ji, she is quickly dismissed. Amma Ji asserts that she will handle the matter herself and asks Lalita to leave.
Meanwhile, Ritu expresses her happiness to Akshay, but Akshay remains cold. He tells Ritu that he understands her true motives, accusing her of marrying him only because of Abhay. He calls her a fraud and insists that she’s only interested in his appearance. Despite Ritu’s attempts to justify her love for him, Akshay brands her a liar. He makes it clear that although they will live together, they will remain like strangers.
Hema confides in Amma Ji, sharing her distress over the situation with Akshay. She feels helpless knowing that someone is trying to take Akshay away. Amma Ji sharply reminds Hema that she should be ashamed for referring to Kalyani’s children as her own. Hema admits that she knows the weight of her sacrifices and vows to stay outside the house until Kalyani accepts her. Ganga overhears this conversation and prays that her own pain is nothing compared to Hema’s. She asks God to set things right.
Lalita then instructs Ritu to ensure that Akshay and his mother don’t leave the house. She reassures Ritu that Kalyani will eventually accept her as a daughter-in-law, but for now, Ritu should work to send Ganga back home. Ritu agrees, with Lalita adding that she should also secure a house close to her in-laws.
Later, Hema tries to explain to Chetan the sacrifices she made that day, but Chetan is unforgiving. He tells her that while a father might forgive, a husband will not. Hema is aware of the gravity of her mistakes. Akshay overhears their conversation, adding to his growing concerns.
Ganga is anxious, knowing that Abhay is planning to involve a lawyer for an amendment. She is confused about whom to turn to for help. Kalyani is also troubled and notices Hema speaking to Akshay. Hema apologizes to Akshay for keeping the truth from him and always discouraging him from visiting Patna because of Kalyani. Akshay, though hurt, reassures Hema that she is his mother and that whatever decisions she makes will always be in his best interest. Witnessing this, Kalyani breaks down in tears.
