He mentions that he spoke with Mohit just yesterday evening and expresses his disbelief. Teju inquires about Mohit’s words to him, but Neil assures her that he will provide her with the information when the time is right. Teju agrees. Neil then informs her that he will immediately approach her.
Teju inquires in disbelief as to whether Neil is traveling all the way from Nagpur, to which Neil responds with a brief clarification. Neil inquires about Vedaant’s well-being out of concern. Teju responds that Vedaant has been continuously crying. Teju calls Vedaant over when Neil asks to speak with him. Vedaant is gently reminded by Neil that he is responsible for taking care of his family and to avoid becoming emotional. Vedaant observes and concurs. In the meantime, Mohit’s father notices Teju on a call and inquires about it.
Teju responds that Mohit considers the person to be his own. When Vinod enters the room, Leena is looking at some jewelry in another location. He tells her that they need to reveal the truth about Neil to the girl. Leena asks him, perplexed, what truth he’s referring to. Neil knocks on Leena’s door and arrives before Vinod can elaborate. Prachi then approaches Neil and requests that he select a picture for their album. Neil is lost in thought as he looks at a picture of himself and his parents. Vinod finally reveals to Leena that Neil is not their biological son when he returns to the room. Leena refuses to disclose this truth to anyone.
Vinod puts her to the test by posing the question of what they would do if the girl questioned them after marrying Neil. Leena bluntly responds that the girl will have bad luck if she considers this truth significant after marriage. Vinod reminds Leena that they had once agreed to tell Neil the truth when the time was right. However, she stopped him at every attempt to do so. Leena firmly insists that she will never reveal the truth.
Vinod is then compelled to swear on her that he will keep the secret as well. Vinod, understanding the gravity of the situation, assures her that since this truth concerns both of them, he will not reveal it without her consent. Leena is pleased as well. In the meantime, Neil approaches Leena and informs her that he wants to discuss something significant with her.
