Adrija’s mother urges her to cut the birthday cake, so Adrija and her friends head inside. Adrija’s father stops his wife, complimenting the beautiful decorations done by Meghla, and asks where Meghla is. His wife explains that Meghla went to get ready. Just then, Meghla arrives, and her mother scolds her for being late. However, her father notices the bouquet in Meghla’s hand and guesses she was out buying it for Adrija. Meghla confirms this, and both she and her father briefly discuss Sharma Ji, who is Guruji, and will arrive later at the party. They then join Adrija, who cuts the cake, feeding it to her parents and friends, but pointedly ignores Meghla. Meghla hides her hurt behind a smile.
Meanwhile, Diljot asks Ranbir if he’s going to take her to meet her husband. Param tries to distract Diljot with golgappas, and pulls Ranbir aside, pointing out that people are staring because of Diljot’s behavior. But Ranbir dismisses the concern, saying people can think what they want. Back at the party, Adrija’s friends compliment Meghla’s singing skills and request a song, making Meghla happy. However, Adrija looks irritated and criticizes the idea, claiming that Meghla’s classical singing doesn’t fit the party theme. Meghla responds by saying she’ll sing once Guruji arrives. Adrija, eager to shift the focus, announces her birthday plans and takes her friends elsewhere, ignoring her father’s likely disapproval.
At the market, Ranbir and Param discuss Diljot’s ongoing search for her husband and child, and her accusations toward her family. Param suspects Diljot’s mental health is causing her delusions, but Ranbir believes there’s truth in her words. He shares that he tried to learn about Diljot’s past from his mother, Mehar, but she refuses to tell him anything. Elsewhere, Simran tries to repair her strained relationship with Harman, expressing her pain over his accusations. Overcome with emotion, she breaks down, and Harman consoles her.
Back at the market, Diljot notices Ranbir and Param talking and asks what they’re discussing. Param gives a vague excuse. Diljot then requests Ranbir to help her find her husband. Ranbir agrees and asks for his name, but Diljot can’t remember. She only recalls that he was a good singer. Param points out that many men are good singers, making it a difficult task, which frustrates Diljot. She angrily insists her husband is the best singer. Ranbir, deep in thought, tries to calm her.
Back at the party, Meghla gifts Adrija a flower bouquet, but Adrija deliberately drops it on the ground and steps on it. Meghla, hurt but composed, picks it up and hands it back to Adrija, who, still annoyed, reacts coldly. Meghla feels the sting of rejection once again.
