Adrija introduces herself to Ranbir, but he doesn’t share her enthusiasm. When Adrija scolds Meghla for bumping into Ranbir, he immediately defends Meghla, saying it was likely his fault. Adrija, still blaming Meghla, is surprised as Ranbir takes a firm stand for her. Feeling hurt, Meghla quietly leaves. Soon after, Nimrit arrives and questions Ranbir for not calling her. He tells her to check her phone, and upon seeing the missed calls, she apologizes.
Adrija then persuades Ranbir to meet her parents and offers him something to eat. Though he tries to refuse, he eventually agrees to have water before leaving. Adrija confides in Nimrit about her interest in Ranbir, and Nimrit teases her. Adrija asks if there’s a chance she could stay longer at the party with her brother, but Nimrit says it’s unlikely, leaving Adrija disappointed.
At the Bajwa mansion, Simran shares her concerns about Diljot’s life with the family. Diljot’s mother expresses her frustration, saying she may have stood by her husband all these years, but she doesn’t support his choices regarding Diljot. She also expresses her disappointment with both Balveer and Zorawar for ruining Diljot’s life, accusing her husband of caring only for the family’s reputation, which he confirms. Balveer’s wife supports her mother-in-law, explaining that she is worried about her daughter’s future and can’t stand seeing her in this condition.
Mr. Bajwa argues that money will help take care of Diljot, but Mehar steps in, saying that money can’t solve everything. Harman and Simran agree with her. Harman then mentions that Ranbir has been asking questions about Diljot’s past, which prompts their grandfather to warn the family not to reveal anything to him or the younger members. He reminds them that they are all responsible for Diljot and that he has made arrangements to secure her future after his death. Simran opposes his stance.
At the venue, Guruji praises Meghla, and Ranbir watches her from afar. Adrija and Nimrit arrive, and Adrija once again tries to convince Ranbir to meet her parents, but he refuses, saying he will meet them another time. Adrija notices Ranbir staring at Meghla and becomes furious. Ranbir then leaves with Nimrit. Meanwhile, Simran’s continued opposition leads Zorawar to warn her, but Harman sides with her. Mehar expresses her disappointment with the Bajwa men, blaming them for Diljot’s current situation, which causes Zorawar to warn her as well. Mehar grows upset. As they argue, they hear the sound of Ranbir and others returning home, prompting their grandfather to issue one final warning to the family.
Diljot, in tears, tells Mehar that Ranbir didn’t help her meet her husband and accuses the Bajwa men. Balveer orders Diljot’s helper to take her inside. Ranbir steps in to convince Diljot to go, and she reluctantly agrees. As they settle in, Simran notices a lipstick mark on Ranbir’s shirt and questions him about it. Ranbir, recalling the moment when he bumped into Meghla, smiles.
