Adrija, trying to grab Ranbir’s attention, insists that she’s feeling perfectly fine and urges him to join her for a dance. However, Ranbir, instead of obliging, encourages Meghla to dance with him, prompting a jealous and sarcastic comment from Adrija about Meghla’s lack of dancing skills. But Ranbir praises Meghla’s talents and, to Adrija’s annoyance, asks Meghla to sing a song for him. Adrija’s frustration grows, but Mahua steps in, suggesting that they head back to their resort where they can get to know more about Ranbir’s family. Ranbir downplays the idea, saying his family is just like any other, but Mahua compliments him for being humble, noting that such qualities are rare these days. Ranbir then turns the compliment towards Meghla, calling her simple and grounded, which irritates Adrija further. She once again insists Ranbir come dance with her, and after confirming that Meghla isn’t interested, he leaves with Adrija.
Meanwhile, at the Bajwa house, a conversation unfolds regarding Diljot’s mental health. Harman asks Biji to open up about Diljot’s past after Mehar reveals that Diljot has stopped taking her medication. Biji hesitates, but Harman pushes for answers from his father, Balveer, who becomes visibly angry. Elsewhere, Mahua and Chandan enjoy their trip, but Chandan remarks that Mahua’s attention seems more focused on Adrija’s potential marriage prospects.
Back at the Bajwa household, Balveer finally reveals that Diljot had once been married, a union that threatened the family’s reputation. In an attempt to protect the family name, they brought her back to their home. Simran realizes that if this is the case, Diljot is still legally married. Biji cautions her to watch her words, especially if Balraj finds out, but Simran defends her statement, insisting it’s the truth. Biji explains that Diljot’s husband was once in custody, but after that, no one knows what became of him. Mehar suggests they could try to locate him since Diljot had mentioned he was a talented singer. Balveer, however, warns of the potential consequences if they pursue this path. The tension in the room rises as everyone contemplates the situation.
Adrija, still desperate for Ranbir’s attention, urges him to take a photo with her. He agrees, but before the picture is taken, Meghla slips, and Ranbir quickly rushes to catch her, leading to a moment of eye contact between the two. Adrija, along with her parents, runs to check on Meghla. Both Ranbir and Meghla’s parents anxiously ask if she’s okay, and though Meghla assures everyone that she’s fine, Ranbir’s worry for her is evident, much to Adrija’s frustration. In her annoyance, Adrija scolds Meghla for being careless. When Chandan suggests taking Meghla with him, Adrija makes a cutting remark, prompting Chandan to warn her. Mahua steps in to diffuse the situation, and once again, Meghla reassures Ranbir that she’s alright.
Later, Ranbir tells the Sen family about a local tradition where one makes a wish while standing in the middle of a sacred river on a bridge. He encourages Meghla to participate and make a wish for herself. Adrija, sensing her opportunity to jab at the situation, makes a snide comment, but when she refuses to reveal her wish, Ranbir assures her it’s okay, as wishes are personal. As the group takes part in the tradition, Meghla silently wishes for Adrija’s happiness, while Adrija wishes to marry Ranbir. Ranbir, on the other hand, wonders if his own wish will come true. Chandan also joins in, wishing for a bright future for Meghla. As Meghla watches Adrija and Ranbir together, she silently hopes they truly fall in love with each other.
