Akash confronts Jagriti, accusing her of being a liar when he sees her aiming an arrow at a rabbit. Overwhelmed, Jagriti cries silently, unable to kill anything. She worries about how she’ll earn money for Harish’s treatment. Akash, confused, tells Jagriti he doesn’t understand what’s going on. He offers her some fruit and encourages her to eat while explaining her situation clearly. Jagriti agrees.
Kalikant questions Durjan’s audacity in asking a Chitta girl to earn money in a different way than hunting. Durjan responds that he believes Jagriti has all the potential to be a great hunter and chief. He wants to mold her into the best Chitta ever but feels he needs to break her spirit first, which is why he challenged her to earn Rs 100 a day.
After hearing Jagriti’s story, Akash realizes he didn’t know about her struggles. He reassures her, offering to give her Rs 100 from his piggy bank. Jagriti warns him that if Durjan finds out she received money without earning it, he won’t treat Harish. As Akash eats the fruit, an idea strikes him. He suggests that Jagriti sell the fruits since they are delicious. Jagriti agrees, relieved that this plan won’t hurt anyone.
Kalikant tells Durjan that if Jagriti succeeds in the challenge, he will take appropriate action. Durjan confidently assures Kalikant that Jagriti won’t earn the money and tells him not to worry.
Akash attempts to carry the fruits in his shirt, but Jagriti stops him and skillfully creates a container out of leaves. When Akash asks who taught her how to make it, Jagriti reveals it was her father. During their conversation, Akash inquires why she calls a Rupee “Rupali.” Jagriti explains about Rupali and shows him a drawing of a Rs 10 coin. Akash clarifies that “rupee” and “Rupali” are the same and elaborates on the difference between Rs 10 and Rs 100 with examples.
Suraj informs Kalikant that Akash is missing from the house. Kalikant’s wife mentions that Akash has gone into the jungle to release the rabbit. Kalikant orders his men to search for Akash.
Jagriti teaches Akash how to make the leaf container for carrying the fruits. Lost in thought about her father, she becomes emotional. Later, Akash notices Kalikant’s men searching for him, prompting him to leave to avoid being seen with Jagriti.
Jagriti sets up to sell the fruits by the roadside. When Sapna stops her car and tastes the fruit, Jagriti asks how she can eat without paying. Sapna argues, claiming her father is a police officer and she shouldn’t be charged. Geeta arrives and questions Sapna about getting out of the car. Sapna complains to Geeta about Jagriti arguing over some fruits, even though she can afford to buy all of them. Sapna spits out a seed, which lands at Geeta’s feet. Jagriti quickly wipes it away, and Geeta touches Jagriti’s head as if blessing her.
Geeta asks Jagriti why she’s selling the fruits and if no one is home. Jagriti explains that her father is sick, which is why she’s selling them. She then asks Geeta if she would like to buy all the fruits, and Geeta agrees.
