Lal and Shubhan accused Lalan of being a criminal, but the police officer reveals that Shubha manipulated the situation to ensure Lalan’s arrest and prevent the marriage between the two families. The officer exposes a call recording where Shubha is heard instructing the police commissioner to arrest Lalan. With this evidence, everyone learns about Shubha’s deceitful actions. The officer adds that Lalan’s father once helped him complete his education, showing he was a kind and generous man.
Embarrassed by the exposure, Shubha tries to defend himself, claiming the recording was edited and denying that he manipulated either the police officer or the commissioner. However, Jhanak refuses to believe Shubha’s excuses. The police officer gives Lalan the choice to decide Shubha’s fate. Displaying kindness, Lalan chooses to forgive both Shubha and Lal. The police commissioner, in return, vows to protect Lalan’s family for the rest of his life but warns Shubha to stop his schemes, hinting that he knows more about Shubha’s shady past.
Back at the house, Shubha retreats to his room in anger. No one fully understands what transpired at the police station that has left him so furious. Shristi and Arshi start to wonder if Jhanak had something to do with Shubha’s outburst. Lalan and Appu explain Shubha’s conspiracy, while Anuradha cautions Shristi to be careful with their words. Jhanak becomes determined to uncover the truth about who ruined Lalan’s father’s life, suspecting that Shubha played a role in his death. This revelation shocks both Lalan and Anuradha. Lalan begins to question Shubha’s actions, while Tanuja grows increasingly suspicious and demands answers. She instructs her daughter to call Shubha.
When Shubha arrives, he continues to insist on his innocence. Tanuja, however, laughs at his excuses, predicting that Shubha’s deceit will one day be fully exposed, potentially costing him his lawyer’s license. Aniruddha firmly believes that his father indeed manipulated the police to have Lalan arrested. He angrily confronts Shubha, warning him to change his ways or risk losing whatever respect remains.
