Appu’s family warmly welcomes both Appu and Lalan. Kajal asks her aunt for permission to rest, as she needs to go to school the next day. However, Lalan and his mother disagree, with Lalan suggesting a celebration for the next 2 to 3 days. Kajal becomes frustrated. Appu decides to sleep, but her mother-in-law insists she perform the girahpravesh ritual first. Appu agrees, completes the ritual, and everyone is pleased, although Kajal remains displeased.
Lalan’s cousin demands money from him, threatening not to let him into the house without it. Lalan complains to his mother, and both she and Appu persuade him to comply. Kajal tries to leave again but is stopped. A neighbor mentions hearing about Appu’s health issues but comments that Appu seems fine. Lalan thanks the neighbor and praises Appu’s character, which angers Kajal further. She criticizes Lalan for his understanding of Appu.
Lalan’s mother persuades Appu to complete the ritual before resting, and she agrees. Kajal continues to insist on leaving, but Lalan and his mother persuade her to stay. Lalan acknowledges that the house may be small and challenging, but Appu reassures him that it’s her home too and she’ll manage, which makes everyone happy. Kajal attempts to create a scene during the post-wedding ritual, but Appu calms her down and convinces her to stay until the ritual is finished.
The next day, Jhanak arrives with Chhoton and announces her decision to go to Mumbai for work. She advises Lalan to investigate who trapped him and prevented him from discovering the truth. Lalan plans to focus on his personal life but agrees to follow Jhanak’s advice after his mother insists. Lalan and his mother inform Jhanak and Chhoton that Appu and Kajal are now getting ready together, which surprises and pleases them. Lalan’s mother assures them that she will not ask Appu to change, as she considers her like a daughter.
Aniruddha arrives with Jhanak. Jhanak playfully teases Mrinalini and Chhoton, and mentions that Appu is upset for not attending the wedding. When Appu arrives, she expresses her frustration at not seeing her mother, but Chhoton tells her to wait for her parents. Jhimli goes to fetch Meghla and her sister as instructed by her mother. Once Meghla and her sister arrive, they discuss Jhanak’s recent reality show appearance where she was a runner-up. Jhanak subtly mocks Aniruddha, noting that his wife won the competition. Aniruddha feels uneasy. Meghla decides to sing a song for Jhanak, who won’t be able to join the evening ceremony, but asks Jhanak to dance. Despite initial hesitation, Jhanak agrees to Meghla’s request.
