Aniruddha, wanting to confess his feelings for Jhanak, calls Arshi into his room, intending to share something important, but ultimately, he cannot bring himself to say anything.
Meanwhile, Aditya and Jhanak discuss their upcoming project, which is set to be shot in Kolkata. Jhanak agrees to return to Kolkata to complete the project.
At the Bose house, Mimi and her sister intentionally insult Lalan, a guest. When Lalan mentions that he only gets to enjoy royal food once or twice a year, Mimi, knowing that Lalan and his family can’t afford such luxuries, mocks him. Ajanta and Bablu request Tanuja, Mimi, and Rumi to be respectful, but they persist in ridiculing Lalan. Unable to tolerate the disrespect any longer, Lalan stands up for himself, calling them out for their lack of manners. His direct words shock everyone, including Ajanta and Bablu, who are deeply upset by the situation. They plead with Lalan to eat something, explaining that they won’t be able to eat otherwise.
A short while later, Chhoton and Mrinalini arrive at the Bose house and hear about the insults from Mimi and Rumi that hurt Lalan. Both Chhoton and Mrinalini are furious and scold them for their misbehavior. Lalan, now feeling more comfortable, decides to eat. In a twist, he serves some food onto Mimi’s plate as a form of revenge. Mrinalini laughs, further irritating Tanuja, who considers Mrinalini an outsider. However, Chhoton then announces that he will marry Mrinalini soon, making it clear she won’t be an outsider for much longer.
At the same time, Shristi and Shubho push Aniruddha to sign a contract agreeing to an overseas job offer. Aniruddha resists, not wanting to be pressured into the decision. Arshi and Shristi, however, have lost faith in him. Even his parents, Tanuja and Shubho, support Arshi’s stance, urging Aniruddha to sign the papers. Feeling disrespected by his family, Aniruddha is further hurt when Arshi accuses him of caring more for Jhanak than for her. She threatens to leave the house if he doesn’t sign the contract. Unable to handle the pressure, Aniruddha finally signs the papers and hands them to Shubho.
Later, Aniruddha reflects on the time he spent with Jhanak, feeling heartbroken over the thought of leaving his country and the memories behind.
