Amruta watches Virat as he prepares for Navaratri. When he asks her what’s on her mind, she replies with a curt “nothing” and walks away.
Meanwhile, Jahan attempts to explain to Bhavani and Vendi that Amruta and Virat’s love story is unique and different from the usual narratives.
Amruta arrives at Jahan’s house, inquiring about their discussion. Jahan advises her not to get involved, but Vendi insists that Amruta needs to respond to their concerns; otherwise, she’ll find herself in a lifelong relationship with Virat. Vendi urges Amruta to clearly state that she doesn’t wish to continue with Virat, and they’ll ensure she doesn’t leave. Jahan interjects, reminding them that Amruta is married, making it impossible for her to simply walk away.
Deepika, Nimrit, and Anjali arrive at Jahan’s house. They inform Anjali that they’ve come to assist with the charity event. Vendi asks Amruta how they will manage to lift the kitchen utensils, but Virat steps in, offering to help. Amruta reminds everyone that they’re running late for the charity event and takes charge, leading them out.
Dildar tells Sekhar to keep an eye on Ishika, to which Sekhar agrees. Babita then announces her intention to accompany Dildar to the Navaratri Pooja, and Dildar agrees.
Meanwhile, a tea boy serves tea to the police officers, including Rajiv. When Rajiv lifts his cup, he discovers a hidden message from Priyanka instructing him that it’s time to execute their plan. Feigning a seizure, Rajiv causes a panic, prompting the other officers to rush him to the hospital.
Jayesh notices Ishika dressed up and questions her about going out when she’s supposed to be sick. Ishika reveals that she’s not sick; she’s pregnant. Thanks to Amruta’s encouragement, she realizes she doesn’t need to hide this news from anyone, and she’s headed to thank Amruta. Sekhar messages Virat to inform him that Ishika is on her way to see Amruta. Seeing Sekhar’s message, Virat glances over at Amruta. Vendi notices this and approaches him.
Virat tells Vendi that regardless of her opinion of him, his only wish is for Amruta to be happy. Vendi questions why he doesn’t just let Amruta go, reminding him of the turmoil since their forced marriage. She warns that Amruta has been lucky to survive the challenges thus far, but that luck may not hold in the future. Virat falls silent at her words.
Later, Vendi, Bhavani, and Jahan engage in a discussion about Dussehra. Bhavani reflects on the paradox of society: while people worship the Goddess, many still harm women, who are seen as embodiments of her. She notes that today’s women face at least one demon in their lives, but both she and Vendi believe that the demon will ultimately be vanquished during Navaratri.
Meanwhile, Rajiv and Priyanka, disguised, attend the Navaratri Pooja. Rajiv overhears Bhavani and Vendi’s conversation and thinks to himself that in this Kaliyug, the demon is bound to prevail.
Virat approaches Amruta, trying to express his feelings, but she attempts to sidestep the conversation. He, however, insists that she listen to him.
