Yashoda asks Krishna where he is going and what’s happening. Krishna, recalling the situation, feigns confusion and asks what’s wrong. Yashoda scolds him for trying to leave despite her instructions to stay put. Krishna reassures her, saying he can’t go anywhere without eating her homemade butter and roti. Yashoda questions why he was outside then, and Krishna smoothly navigates the situation. She feeds him, expressing that her concern for his safety is a mother’s instinct. Krishna asks if her concern upsets her, not him, and promises to inform her before going out in the future, so she won’t have to worry. Yashoda nods in agreement, and Krishna feeds her in return.
Radha lies awake, unable to forget Krishna’s miraculous deeds. She marvels at his strength and wonders how such things are possible. As she tries to sleep, she imagines Krishna beside her, admiring her. She wakes, thinking that he’s likely sleeping in his mother’s lap and listening to a lullaby. Meanwhile, Yashoda sings a lullaby to Krishna, who holds her hand and promises he won’t go out without informing her, reassuring her not to worry. Yashoda agrees and Krishna praises her as a wonderful mother, promising not to trouble her anymore.
The next day, Krishna plays ball with his friends. Balram warns Radha to catch the ball carefully or it might fall behind her. Radha promises to catch it, asking Krishna not to throw it too fast. Krishna throws the ball, but it falls into the Yamuna River.
Balram informs them that the ball fell into the river where the Kalika snake resides. Radha’s friends blame her for not catching it properly, making her upset. Krishna defends Radha, saying she is unfairly blamed and insists he will retrieve the ball and continue playing. Despite Balram’s warning about the dangerous serpent, Krishna dives into the river. Radha tries to follow but is stopped by her mother, who advises her to let someone else help Krishna.
In the river, Krishna encounters Kalika, asking him to return the ball they were playing with. Kalika demands Krishna’s life in exchange for the ball, claiming he will teach the Gokulam people a lesson for disturbing his sleep. Yashoda and Nandan arrive, pleading with Kalika to release Krishna. Krishna challenges Kalika, asking him to demonstrate his strength rather than scare a child. Kalika responds by spitting venom, which Krishna deflects. Kalika, impressed, throws a naag astra at Krishna, who catches the snake and throws it away. Krishna insists Kalika stop this game, as everyone is worried about him.
