As Vaiju prepares to leave the house, she passes by Rannvijay’s room and recalls how he had once told her she was always welcome there. Seeing Vasundhara asleep, she remembers how Vasundhara treated her like a daughter. In her haste, Vaiju accidentally knocks over a vase, startling Vasundhara awake. Looking around, Vasundhara tries to see who it was, but Vaiju quickly retreats. As Vaiju walks through the house, memories of her time with the family flood her mind. Just as she’s about to step outside, Nagraj enters the hall, calling everyone to gather.
Holding up a newspaper, Nagraj reveals a front-page photo of Rannvijay and Vaiju for exposing the culprits behind the bridge collapse. The family is overjoyed and congratulates Vaiju, but she feels conflicted. Vaiju thinks to herself that she needs to carve out her own identity and can’t find joy in this success. Jaya mentions that Rannvijay is out for work and offers to call him with the news. Vasundhara, excited, says she’ll prepare something special for breakfast. Vaiju grows emotional looking at the photo of herself with Rannvijay. Meanwhile, Jaya contacts Rannvijay, asking when he’ll return home and advising him to check the newspaper.
At work, Rannvijay’s colleague also shows him the newspaper, praising both him and Vaiju for their efforts in exposing the criminals. Jaya asks Rannvijay to bring jalebi for everyone when he comes home. Rannvijay, thinking about how Vaiju loves vada pav, decides to buy that as well, hoping it will ease the tension between them. At the same time, the criminals they exposed are planning to kill Rannvijay in retaliation. Reflecting on the harsh words he said to Vaiju the previous day, Rannvijay hopes she understands his intentions were right.
In the market, Vaiju is making her way toward Jhumri Patan when Rannvijay arrives to buy jalebi and vada pav. However, they miss seeing each other. As “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” plays, Vaiju feels her heart breaking, overwhelmed with pain she can barely endure. Suddenly, the culprits arrive in the market and kidnap Rannvijay. Vaiju hears the commotion but doesn’t realize it’s Rannvijay being taken. She chases after the van but falls, managing to catch a glimpse of the license plate.
As Rannvijay fights back against his captors, Jaya keeps calling him, growing increasingly worried when he doesn’t pick up. She tells Vasundhara that something feels wrong. Meanwhile, the goons continue to beat Rannvijay and destroy his phone. Back in the market, Vaiju senses that someone close to her has been kidnapped. When she spots Rannvijay’s shoe and his abandoned bike, she realizes with horror that he’s been taken by the criminals they exposed the previous day.
