Full Written Update: Mangal Lakshmi 26/2/2025 Episode Start with Mangal asks what happened to her hair, and Kusum explains that her hair was accidentally cut at the parlour. At home, Sowmya incites the family against Mangal, claiming that Mangal is to blame for Kusum’s short hair. At the competition, the judges ask Mangal to present her idea. Kusum steps in and shares Mangal’s concept. After the round, the anchor calls everyone to the stage. Sidharth announces that no one will be eliminated in this round. The next task that is assigned by the judges is to make a jingle for their product. The challenge is accepted by everyone. Later, Kusum is made fun of by Niketan and his mother, which causes Mangal to remove her from the situation. Back at home, the doorbell rings, and Sowmya opens the door. Sudesh advises Adit not to take out his frustration on Mangal without understanding the full situation.
When Mangal and Kusum arrive, Adit immediately blames Mangal for Kusum’s state. Adit won’t listen when Mangal tries to explain. Kusum defends Mangal, but Adit silences her, accusing Mangal of turning her into a laughingstock. Heartbroken, Kusum locks herself in her room and cries. Mangal begs Kusum to open the door, but Kusum insists that Mangal remain alone. Sudesh gently advises Mangal to give Kusum some space, and Mangal reluctantly agrees.
The next day, Mangal prepares for the Shivratri pooja, and Sudesh carefully places the bhog in a safe spot. Mangal urges Kusum to come out of her room, but Kusum refuses. Mangal’s participation in the competition brings happiness to Shanti and Lipika, who visit. Shanti asks about Kusum, and Mangal explains that Kusum is unwilling to join the pooja. Sowmya arrives with Adit and volunteers to perform the pooja in Kusum’s place. Sowmya is scolded by Shanti, but Mangal intervenes to calm things down. Sowmya, feeling smug, goes to change her clothes — but not before drinking the masala milk meant for the bhog, unaware of its effects
As the pooja begins, Sowmya starts feeling dizzy due to the milk. Seizing the opportunity, Shanti locks Sowmya’s room from the outside, hoping Mangal will perform the ritual instead. Mangal begins the abhishek to Lord Shiva. Meanwhile, Niketan disguises himself as a worker and sneaks into Mangal’s house. He tells his mother on a phone call that his plan will get Mangal killed. Karthik tells Lakshmi in a different storyline that he won’t eat dinner unless she has lunch. Lakshmi agrees, and Karthik asks her to get ready before leaving. Later, Jia inquires as to whether Karthik was the one who decorated the house. She hugs him in the belief that he is about to propose after he confirms. Lakshmi and Raghuveer also arrive, dressed up, and ask why they were called. Karthik reveals he planned a double date since no one else was home
During dinner, Karthik playfully questions Lakshmi, while Raghuveer fields questions as well. They attempt to compensate for one another, but their responses don’t always line up. Jia encourages Lakshmi to try Mexican food, but Karthik quickly mentions that Lakshmi doesn’t like it. Raghuveer, suspicious, asks how Karthik knows this. Karthik nervously claims that Mangal must have told him.
When Karthik asks to see their wedding photos, Lakshmi and Raghuveer panic and evade the request. Sensing something off, Karthik directly asks if they are truly married. Overwhelmed, Lakshmi spills her juice and heads out to change. Raghuveer follows her, pretending to help. Karthik is reassured by Jia to not overthink things. Raghuveer notices Lakshmi’s pain but quietly moves away after she tears up at the wedding photo. He returns to Karthik and confesses the truth — he and Lakshmi aren’t married and are only pretending. Karthik gives them a normal look as Lakshmi returns.
