Full Written Update: Mangal Lakshmi 5/3/2025 Episode Start with Sowmya speaking against Mangal in front of Adit, but Adit supports Mangal. Sowmya mentions that he has changed recently and inquires if he still loves her. Adit comforts her by holding her hand and declaring that he loves her. Just then, Sudesh arrives. Adit quickly lets go of Sowmya’s hand and asks Sudesh what he wants. Sudesh says, “I’m giving my prescription to Mangal for medicines, so give yours too.” Adit responds that the medications will be handled by Sowmya. The prescription is reluctantly taken by Sowmya. Meanwhile, Mangal finds the food packet she prepared while cleaning the house. Kusum arrives, and Mangal insists that Kusum give her a head massage. Kusum agrees and tells Mangal she knows she’s upset.
Mangal responds, “Don’t worry, maybe it’s not my destiny to participate in the competition.” Kusum starts the massage, but Mangal gets a call. Kusum answers it — Smita tells Mangal that her mother is inspired by her and urges her to return to the show. However, Mangal refuses and ends the call. Later, Judge Sidhant calls Mangal and informs her that they’ve removed the assistant director, requesting her to give the show another chance. Mangal still won’t come back. The next day, Ishana refuses to go to school. When Mangal asks why, Ishana explains that her friends are teasing her by linking her name with Sidhant, and she doesn’t like it. Mangal advises her not to care about what others say and to focus on her studies. Ishana retorts, “Then why did you leave the show? It’s easy to tell others, but hard to follow yourself.” Just then, they hear a horn, and Ishana leaves for school.
Kusum gently suggests that Mangal reconsider her decision.
Later on, Jigar’s boss calls to tell him to get Mangal to come back to the show. Jigar calls Mangal and urges her to come back and pursue her dreams. Meanwhile, Sidhant scolds Sailaja for trying to bribe Mangal. Sailaja shrugs and says, “I made her a great offer, but she’s a fool to reject it.” On the competition day, the anchor calls the contestants to the stage. Mangal enters the stage unexpectedly, and the audience breaks out in cheers. Mangal emotionally says, “I left the show because I was upset, but the viewers’ calls and my daughter brought me back. I’m here for my dreams, not for money.”
Sidhant smiles and welcomes her back, instructing the anchor to start the show. The anchor announces that the next round is full of surprises. Later, Mangal and Kusum dry the competition-related food ingredients. Adit notices water flowing toward Mangal’s food and rushes to stop it. However, in his attempt, he accidentally breaks the tap, drenching all the food. Mangal looks devastated as she stares at the spoiled ingredients.
Meanwhile, Sanjana and Umesh tell Gayatri that it’s better to reveal the truth to Karthik. But Gayatri begs them not to. Lakshmi pleads with Gayatri to understand that Jia is influencing Karthik’s decisions. Gayatri, on the other hand, holds firm and promises to stop the wedding without telling Karthik the truth. Karthik calls Jia, saying he wants to meet her and ease her insecurities. Lakshmi overhears this and prays to God for a way to save her relationship. A gust of wind blows her earring near Karthik, triggering flashes of memories. Karthik picks up the earring and tells Lakshmi he’s seeing visions of a girl, but it’s not Jia — he just can’t figure out who it is. Lakshmi feels a glimmer of hope as he walks away, determined to stop the marriage.
Later, Lakshmi prays to Lord Shiva, and Karthik joins her, asking her to come with him. He takes her to a jewelry store and asks her to help him choose a ring to propose to Jia. They both like a ring, and when the vendor asks for the size, Karthik slides the ring onto Lakshmi’s finger to check the fit. He then hands it back to the vendor to pack and steps away to take a call. Lakshmi returns the ring, and Karthik thanks her for her help. Curious, he asks why she decorated the pooja room. Lakshmi tells him about the Mahashivratri pooja, and Karthik says he plans to propose to Jia on this auspicious day.
Later, Karthik meets Jia while Lakshmi performs the pooja with her family, praying for divine intervention. Karthik tells Jia, “I wanted to propose to you for marriage, but after talking to Lakshmi, my decision has changed.” Jia is visibly upset.
