Ranjeeta asks Megha what is going on, while a media reporter presses them for information, demanding to know what they are hiding. Arjun steps in, telling the reporters to shut up and move aside. One reporter provocatively asks Megha who she plans to celebrate her honeymoon with, prompting Arjun to grab the reporter by the collar. The reporter retorts that Arjun can’t treat him this way, to which Arjun responds by questioning if the reporter believes he can act so brazenly.
Another reporter insists he has the right to ask questions and inquires about Megha’s relationship with Arjun. In a fit of anger, Arjun slaps the reporter, who argues that while Arjun is a police officer, it doesn’t give him the right to act as he pleases. At this point, security guards arrive to handle the unruly media. Arjun tells Megha not to focus on the reporters and encourages her to take some rest, assuring her that Manoj is behind all this and that he will take care of it. They then leave the scene.
Later, Surendar asks Arjun what is going on, while Ranjeeta presses Arjun about what happened in Georgia, urging Megha to share her experience. Megha reflects on her time in jail, revealing that Manoj failed to pick her up from the airport and ignored her calls. She recounts her visit to the mall, where she discovered Manoj no longer worked there, and describes a harrowing encounter where thieves attempted to attack her, but Arjun intervened and saved her. Her family listens in shock.
Megha explains to Ranjeeta that Manoj took her to his house, where she discovered his affair. When she confronted him, Manoj slapped her and subjected her to further torture, even attempting to molest her, prompting her to break down in tears.
Arjun comforts Megha, urging her to stay calm and reassuring her that she is safe with her family. Ranjeeta hugs her tightly. Arjun praises Megha for her bravery and expresses his disdain for Manoj’s actions, suggesting they give Megha the time she needs to heal. Surendar struggles to believe that Manoj would hit Megha, but Arjun confirms the extent of Manoj’s abuse.
Goldie expresses pride in Megha, encouraging her not to be afraid, while Riya reminds her of her strength. Surendar questions Arjun about media reports claiming Megha is his wife. Arjun explains that he lied to facilitate Megha’s release, asserting that Manoj won’t get away with much more. Surendar laments that while Megha will suffer, Manoj will likely continue to enjoy life, to which Arjun responds that they will file a domestic violence case against him.
Megha doubts anyone will believe her due to her unstable circumstances and past drug issues, feeling powerless against Manoj. She tells Arjun that she doesn’t believe he can help her now, but he reassures her that things will improve in a couple of days. Grateful, Megha thanks him but insists she doesn’t want to discuss it any further. Arjun then asks her if she sees herself as a good wife or an abandoned one.
Surendar advises Arjun to go home and rest. After leaving, Arjun arrives at the police headquarters, where he is questioned about his marriage to Megha. He admits that he lied about their relationship status and learns he is required to attend an inquiry.
