Manoj video calls Megha and asks how she liked his “surprise” at the airport. Megha recalls how the media bombarded her with questions. He smugly tells her that he loves her, and she should expect more surprises like that. Then, he taunts her, asking about her husband, Arjun, and says that now she has two husbands, so she can compare who’s better. Megha firmly responds that she is not his wife and never will be. Manoj mocks her, asking if she wants to live as an abandoned wife forever, claiming he knows she wants Arjun. He threatens to break her relationship with him.
Sarcastically, Megha asks what he plans to do next, especially now that even Emmy has left him. Manoj coldly tells her that while she can’t come to Georgia, he won’t come to India either—but he will destroy her and Arjun’s lives. Megha fiercely replies that she will make sure he’s punished and won’t let him roam freely. Then, she ends the call.
Suddenly, a group of men barges into Megha’s house, carrying fish bowls. Surendar, her father, confronts them, demanding to know why they’ve come. Megha, rushing downstairs, trips and falls. A woman enters the house with a stick in hand, taunting Megha and covering her with a dupatta. Megha, confused, asks the woman who she is. The woman notices the pendant Arjun gave Megha and scoffs. Megha, still in shock, questions the woman’s presence. The woman sarcastically wonders why Arjun risked everything for Megha, implying she doesn’t deserve him, leaving Megha stunned.
Meanwhile, Arjun receives an inquiry letter. K. P. Talwar, his father, arrives, and after greeting everyone, asks to speak to Arjun alone. Once they’re alone, Arjun apologizes to his father.
Back at the house, Megha asks the woman if she knows Arjun. Ranjeeta, Megha’s mother, steps in, asking what this drama is all about. The woman scolds Ranjeeta for how she raised Megha, claiming that if her own daughter had done something like this, she would have killed her. Surendar tells the woman to stop and leave, but she shuts him down, accusing him of scheming to trap rich men like Arjun. The woman laughs, ridiculing Megha for having “two husbands” and continues to insult her. When Megha finally asks her to leave, the woman smashes the fish bowls, grabs Megha by the hair, and threatens her. She warns Megha to stay away from Arjun, saying nothing will stop her from killing Megha. With that, the men and the woman leave.
Back with Arjun, K. P. Talwar confronts him, saying Arjun worked hard for his career, but has now risked everything. He asks if there was a serious reason behind it. Arjun, thankful for the chance to explain himself, says that he always learned from his father that duty comes first. He reveals that Manoj falsely accused Megha, so he lied to protect her. His father asks if there was truly no other way, and Arjun explains that there wasn’t enough time to make another choice.
Back at Megha’s house, she demands to know who the woman is. The woman finally introduces herself as Navjot Talwar.
