K. P. Talwar informs Ranjeeta that she can return to her job now that he has cleared all the false charges against her. Ranjeeta responds that he could have just sent her a letter instead of coming in person. K. P. explains that as her father, he understands her situation. He expresses pride in Arjun for saving Megha but warns that Arjun might lose everything if the inquiry goes against him. He urges Megha to assist Arjun and then leaves.
Kirpal advises Megha not to help Arjun, while Surendar urges her to stay out of the situation. Megha reflects on how Arjun has always been there for her and remembers K. P. Talwar’s words. Ranjeeta inquires if Megha has gathered all the necessary documents, while Surendar insists they should teach Manoj a lesson.
Meanwhile, K. P. Talwar reminds Arjun that his words could impact his family and expresses his trust that Arjun will make the right decision. Later, during the inquiry, the officer questions Arjun about his actions in Georgia. Arjun admits he lied to help Megha, who had been falsely accused, stating that he brought her back to India safely. The officer declares Arjun guilty.
Megha and other women arrive, chanting in support of Arjun. When Megha introduces herself, the inquiry officer tells her that Arjun is suffering because of her. She asks if she was called to testify because she’s involved in the case as well. The officer states it’s an internal matter, but she insists that he should also consider her perspective. He informs her that Arjun confessed to lying to protect her, which shocks Arjun. He tries to approach Megha, but K. P. Talwar holds him back.
The inquiry officer questions Megha about her marriage to Arjun. She clarifies that she is married to Manoj and presents the other women who have suffered due to their husbands’ actions. She points out that society labels them as abandoned and silences them from speaking out against their former partners. Megha recounts how she tried to stand up to Manoj but was met with abuse, asserting that Arjun only sought to help her, just as he has helped others.
The officer acknowledges her points but reminds her that Arjun broke the rules. Megha insists that she is in India because of Arjun’s actions. The officer states he cannot make a decision based solely on her emotional appeal.
Arjun urges Megha to stop, but she explains to the inquiry officer that her injuries were caused by Manoj. When Arjun attempts to cover her up, she shows the officer her scars, declaring that Arjun saved her and many other women like her. The officer concludes that she has said all she needed to, and now he will render his decision.
