Sanju confronts Parineet, telling her he can’t believe she lied to them and that it feels like the truth. Parineet, unfazed, responds that she doesn’t have time to answer his odd questions and needs to go home because her mother is waiting for her. Sanju offers to help her if needed, but Parineet refuses, saying she doesn’t rely on him. Sanju, finding her independence appealing, apologizes, but Parineet remains distant.
Meanwhile, Neeti tells Gurinder that Daljeet must not reveal the truth to the police because Sanju will never forgive her if he finds out she was responsible for Parineet’s death. Gurinder assures her that Daljeet won’t expose anything. Neeti demands a guarantee and decides to call Daljeet herself. However, the commissioner answers the phone and scolds her for trying to contact a criminal. Frustrated, Neeti complains to Gurinder and decides to visit Daljeet in jail, hesitating briefly before crossing the door to go meet him.
Later, Parineet accidentally bumps her car into someone else’s. Sanju insists she gets out of the car, takes the driver’s seat, and offers to drop her home. Parineet, confused by his behavior, silently complies. Meanwhile, Bebe knocks on Gurinder’s door, and Parminder confronts her about sneaking out to meet Daljeet, questioning why she’s trying to act like his mother. Parminder accuses her of supporting Daljeet, who is ruining Babli’s life, and claims Gurinder isn’t even a good mother to Sanju.
On their drive, Sanju’s car breaks down. He checks the engine and says they need to wait for it to cool down, but Parineet refuses to stay. Sanju tries to reassure her, asking if she trusts him. Parineet responds that she doesn’t trust anyone anymore—only her breath, because it will stay with her until she dies.
Back at home, Gurinder and Parminder’s argument escalates. Parminder accuses Gurinder of raising her son poorly, as Daljeet is now ruining a girl’s life. Gurinder defends herself, but Parminder retorts that being a mother is about more than just giving birth—it’s about supporting and guiding a child through tough situations. She points out that Sanju still loves Parineet, yet Gurinder is pushing him to marry Neeti for her own selfish reasons. Their heated argument is interrupted by Bebe, who tries to calm them down.
Meanwhile, Sanju tries to motivate Parineet during their wait. He suspects someone broke her heart and asks who betrayed her. Parineet, hurt, thinks to herself that it was Sanju who shattered her heart, yet he’s the one asking her to open up. Despite his efforts, Parineet remains distant. As the rain begins to fall, she hands Sanju an umbrella, noticing that the car still won’t start. Sanju tells her to wait inside while he seeks help, and Parineet watches him walk off into the rain.
