Sanju thanks Parineet for helping him and expresses how good it feels to have someone care for him. Parineet, smiling, accuses him of buttering her up, saying he can be quite a smooth talker. She reminds him that his mom, Neeti, and Parminder love him a lot too. Sanju clarifies that he knows they care, but it’s comforting to feel looked after. Meanwhile, Bebe complains to Neeti about not listening to her, and Gurinder backs Bebe, saying that Neeti could lose her respect if she doesn’t take control. Neeti reassures them that she’ll handle the situation, confident they won’t dare to kick her out of the house. Bebe remarks that ever since Parineet returned, Neeti’s influence has been slipping. She urges Neeti to regain control, especially as Babli, once fearful of her, is now ignoring her.
Later, as Parineet tells Sanju she’s getting late, Sanju teasingly asks why she’s lying. He holds her hands, determined to uncover the truth, while Parineet wonders what’s on his mind. Sanju compliments her beauty, comparing her to the moon, and admits that he can’t control his feelings when she’s around. Parineet, flustered, excuses herself and leaves.
Meanwhile, Avinash is arrested and locked up in jail. Daljeet, who’s also imprisoned, asks Avinash if the police have caught him too. Avinash reassures Daljeet that he’ll be out soon, but Daljeet is worried, as he’s Avinash’s boss and has no plan to escape. Avinash accuses Daljeet of kidnapping Babli and trying to marry her. Jai arrives to meet Daljeet, but informs him that his bail has been rejected. Furious, Daljeet blames Parineet and her fake mother Ambika for his troubles.
Parineet, on the other hand, hugs Daima and breaks down in tears. Daima, concerned, asks her what’s wrong. Parineet confides that, despite wanting revenge on Sanju for betraying her, her heart keeps telling her to forgive him. She admits she feels safe with him and believes he would fight the world for her, even though she knows she shouldn’t feel this way. She feels utterly conflicted and helpless.
Sanju walks in and notices Parineet crying. Daima tries to cover for her, but Sanju isn’t fooled and insists he can see her tears. Meanwhile, Daljeet, still in jail, tells Jai that Ambika is powerful and that Parineet is using her influence to punish him. Jai refutes this, reminding Daljeet that forcing Babli into marriage is a crime. Daljeet, however, believes there’s more to it and vows to end Parineet’s life once he’s released.
In the kitchen, Babli prepares tea, and Neeti confronts her, accusing her of having an attitude. Babli denies it, reminding Neeti that she once treated her like a sister but then played with her life by forcing her into the marriage with Daljeet. She accuses Neeti of betrayal, saying her mother had to rely on Parvathi to save her dignity. Neeti, angered, threatens to harm Parineet, leading Babli to apologize.
Back with Sanju, Daima lies, saying that Parineet is upset because Ambika scolded her. Sanju comforts her, all the while thinking how his heart beats for Parineet. He reflects on how these feelings remind him of the love he once had for her.
