Neeti instructs her staff to cut the rope of the chandelier, insisting that it should look like an accidental death so no one suspects she killed Parineet. As a waiter brings Parineet beneath the chandelier, a phone call interrupts, causing Parineet to leave the area. Frustrated, Neeti realizes she must act quickly.
Later, Sanju notices that Parineet is acting strangely and asks if she’s been drinking. She denies it, claiming he’s the one who’s drunk. Just then, she loses her balance and falls into his arms, dropping her eyelash. He playfully tells her to make a wish, and she replies that she already has everything she needs. Sanju then comments that she doesn’t have true love, to which Parineet replies she’ll pray for it. As memories flood back of Neeti pushing her from the cliff, she confesses to Sanju that she does have true love—she loves him. She reveals the dark secret that she killed his wife.
Sanju is bewildered by her confession, insisting that he has done nothing wrong and that he loves her deeply, missing her every day. Parineet tells him that he agreed to marry Neeti after her death, but Sanju reassures her that he doesn’t love Neeti and won’t marry her; his heart still belongs to Parineet. Overwhelmed with emotion, Parineet hugs him and cries.
Meanwhile, Babli is disguised as Parineet, hoping to attract Neeti’s attention with Ambika’s guidance. Neeti is following closely behind. Ambika instructs Babli to lead Neeti to the hall, where she must confess her crimes. Babli moves away, but Neeti stops her when she accidentally spots Parineet with Sanju. Jealous, Neeti tries to break them apart.
Sanju scolds Neeti for interrupting their moment, while Parineet encourages her to leave them alone for some quality time. Neeti urges Sanju to come back to her, but he reprimands her, declaring that he is with his true love, Parineet. Neeti questions if he’s drunk, but he insists he isn’t drinking. Meanwhile, Ambika asks Babli if she’s seen Parineet, but Babli admits she hasn’t noticed her at all.
Neeti reminds Sanju that they are at a business party, not a romantic gathering. Parineet agrees that business is important and decides to leave. Neeti tells Sanju to get a grip on himself, but he stumbles and falls onto a bed. Neeti thinks it’s for the best, as it will prevent him from ruining her plans. Parineet makes her way to the hall, where Neeti signals the staff to cut the chandelier rope.
Ambika notices the chandelier shaking and warns Parineet to move. Sanju rushes in just in time to save her, pulling her away from danger. Frustrated that her plan has failed, Neeti contemplates her next move. Ambika tells Salil she wants to speak with the manager and isn’t leaving until she does. Neeti grows suspicious of where Sanju took Parineet and meets with the waiter and staff, ordering them to bring kerosene. She pours it in Parineet’s room, determined to ensure her funeral goes off without a hitch this time. Parineet catches a whiff of the kerosene just as Neeti sets fire to her room.
