Suman asks Purna for money to cover Hema’s medical treatment, promising to repay it as soon as possible. Unbeknownst to her, Purna’s son answers the phone, pretending to be his mother, and invites Suman to their home. Suman informs her family that she has arranged the money for Hema’s operation and heads out to collect it. Meanwhile, Teerth returns home and confronts Kritika, who looks frightened. Chandrashekhar starts arguing with Teerth, unaware of the situation, but Teerth tells him that Rishi’s mother was in an accident. He accuses Kritika of causing the accident and fleeing the scene. Devika, upset, defends her sister, demanding proof of the accusation.
Teerth claims Suman saw Kritika at the scene, but Devika insists she was with her and tells Teerth to focus on his relationship with Kritika instead. Geetanjali questions Devika, who reveals that Teerth had agreed to marry her in front of their father. Teerth suggests that Kritika might accompany him to the police station, but Devika stops him. Chandrashekhar sides with his wife, claiming she wouldn’t lie, while Teerth insists that Suman’s testimony and the presence of Kritika’s car at the scene are evidence. Devika demands concrete proof and threatens to hold Kritika accountable if Teerth can prove her guilt. Devika then takes Kritika away.
At Purna’s house, Suman requests the money, but Purna’s son, disguised as his mother, attempts to assault her. Suman fights him off and escapes. Purna arrives, shocked by the scene. Later, Suman reaches the hospital and informs her family that she failed to secure the money. Teerth arrives and reassures her, revealing that Kritika wasn’t driving the car—her driver was. Both Kritika and Teerth then leave in a hurry. Devika apologizes to Suman and Teerth administers first aid to her. Kritika, displeased, watches as Purna pretends to care for Hema and offers money for her treatment. Purna takes Suman aside to speak privately, and asks her to discipline her son. Suman agrees, and Purna has her son apologize. She then presents Suman with money and an agreement for her signature, but Teerth intervenes before Suman can sign.
