Teerth confronts Devika in the wake of the oven blast, questioning why she mentioned Reva’s name and rushed to the kitchen. He senses her unease, suggesting that a successful politician must observe keenly and listen intently while remaining silent. He reassures her that he is aware of what’s happening, even if he chooses not to speak up, as he doesn’t want to stir up trouble in the house. Devika defends herself, stating that Akhil’s friends may have taken him to that shop, implying she shouldn’t be blamed for it. Teerth agrees but presses her on how she knew Reva was in danger, as they didn’t sense anything amiss. Feeling cornered, she asserts that as Reva’s mother, she has an instinct that no one else can understand.
Teerth claims he believes her but expresses the need to consult Chandrakant for his perspective. Devika tries to stop him, and Teerth points out that she knows him well; in the seven years they’ve known each other, he has never interfered in her affairs. He accuses her of trying to control the family while he aspires to be a politician, needing Suman’s support for his career. He warns her not to meddle in his plans.
In response, Devika counters that Kritika is the one who matters for his political ambitions, not Suman. After taking her mother’s blessing, she leaves in a truck, advising Rishi to aim for great achievements in life. Gullu video calls Devika, and she reprimands him for it. He informs her about Suman’s plans, and she orders him to follow through.
