Arjun tells Pradyumna that the law will punish him for his actions. Kaashvi adds that Pradyumna can no longer harm anyone. However, Pradyumna disagrees and hands a pendrive to the police inspector, revealing that Karun was responsible for a person’s death. The police inspector watches the video, and despite Kaashvi’s explanation that it was an accident, he informs her that Karun must be arrested. The officers then take both Pradyumna and Karun into custody.
Later, the police inspector informs Kaashvi that since Karun caused Mohan’s accident, his hands are tied and he cannot offer any help. Kaashvi pleads with him not to send Karun to jail, but the inspector mentions that he has already contacted the juvenile home authorities. Devastated, Karun clings to Kaashvi, begging her to save him as she always has. Meera steps in, assuring Karun that his parents will save him, and takes him away.
Kaashvi breaks down in tears, but Arjun comforts her, vowing they won’t let Karun end up in jail. He promises to speak with the juvenile home officials and encourages her to remain hopeful. Later, the officials review the video, and Arjun argues that it wasn’t murder. The juvenile home officer informs them that a decision will be made in two days, taking Karun with her in the meantime. Arjun reassures Kaashvi that they will hire the best lawyer for Karun’s defense.
Two days later, Kaashvi pleads with the lawyer to save Karun, and he promises to do his best. When Karun arrives, he hugs Kaashvi, and she reassures him not to cry. Arjun tells Karun that they hope to bring him home today. However, the lawyer warns Kaashvi that the final decision rests with the judge. In court, Karun’s lawyer presents his defense, but the prosecutor insists that Karun is not an innocent child. In a surprising turn, Karun’s lawyer calls Meera to the witness stand. Meera testifies that Karun did not cause Mohan’s death, revealing that Mohan died due to an electrical short circuit. She declares Karun innocent, and the judge releases him. Overjoyed, Karun hugs Kaashvi and Arjun as the background music swells with emotion.
Kaashvi and Arjun express their gratitude to Meera, but Meera reminds them that Karun is her son too. She then hands divorce papers to Arjun, informing him that her decision is final. She adds that she will give birth to her child in Delhi. Kaashvi embraces Meera, who tells her and Arjun to always stay together and advises Karun to take care of himself before leaving.
Six months later, Meera is caring for her newborn child when Vikram informs her that Kaashvi is in labor. Meanwhile, Kaashvi gives birth to a baby girl, and the doctor congratulates Arjun and Kaashvi. The nurse places the baby in Arjun’s arms as the title song plays in the background. Soon after, Karun arrives, explaining that the nurse finally allowed him inside. Arjun hands the baby to Karun, who eagerly asks about her name. Arjun reveals that her name is Chahat, symbolizing the love (“Chahatein”) he and Kaashvi share. The family shares a heartfelt moment, with Arjun embracing them as the music swells once again.
