Vidya offers curd to Arman before he leaves the house, a traditional gesture of goodwill. Arman and Abhira then seek her blessing. Abhira tries to comfort Arman, assuring him that Vidya will soon realize her mistake and call him back. Suddenly, Panditji interrupts their conversation. Manisha, noticing him, asks if he has come for a prayer service, but Panditji explains that he has been called to perform a last rite. This alarms Arman, who fears something is wrong with Kaveri. He rushes to stop the Pandit, but Kaveri, in her sorrow, insists the rite proceed, saying it symbolizes the end of her family.
Vidya questions Kaveri’s actions, but Kaveri angrily tells her to stay out of it. She lashes out at Vidya for making decisions without her consent. Arman tries to defend Vidya, but Kaveri accuses him of choosing Vidya over her, lamenting that neither Arman, Abhira, nor Vidya is giving her the importance she deserves. Abhira steps in to defend Arman, but Kaveri admits she had misunderstood Abhira’s intentions. She had believed Abhira wanted to keep the family together, but now feels betrayed as Abhira seems ready to leave the house.
Vidya stands by her decision, though she acknowledges the pain it has caused. Kaveri, however, offers Vidya a choice: she can either mend or break the family. Vidya decides to stop Arman and Abhira from leaving but shockingly declares that she no longer sees Arman as her son. Kaveri, hurt and angry, asserts that no matter how upset she is, she would never disown Arman. She accuses Vidya of showing conditional love, saying Vidya would not have made this decision if it had been Rohit, not Arman, in this situation. Vidya is left stunned by Kaveri’s harsh words.
Shattered by Kaveri’s accusation, Vidya feels unappreciated and unloved. Rohit and Ruhi try to console her. Rohit defends Arman, but Vidya expresses her deep disappointment. She explains that Arman’s marriage to Abhira has taken away Madhav’s dream of becoming a grandfather and Kaveri’s hope of becoming a great-grandmother. Vidya feels that Arman’s choices have broken the family’s legacy. She then turns to Rohit and Ruhi, urging them to uphold the family’s traditions. Rohit promises to do so, while Ruhi is left shocked by Vidya’s expectations.
Meanwhile, Arman is troubled, fearing that Vidya will now see him as a stranger. Abhira tries to reassure him, insisting that Vidya will eventually forgive him. Determined to make amends, Abhira decides to speak with Vidya herself. As Arman leaves to fetch Vidya’s medicine, Abhira remains hopeful that they can heal the family’s wounds.
