Ruhi is encouraged to meet Rohit by Abhira. Ruhi and Abhira decide to visit Rohit together. Ruhi feels foolish for not having recognized her love for Rohit sooner when she was preoccupied with Arman’s thoughts. She pleads with Rohit to wake up. Surprisingly, Rohit reacts upon hearing her voice. Ruhi excitedly tells Abhira that Rohit’s reaction is a good sign. Abhira decides to meet Arman because of this. Abhira is told by the doctor that she must see Arman right away because the time is running out.
Abhira tells the doctor with emotion that when she and Arman talk, time seems to stop. She urges Arman to wake up, reminding him that he has to be there for their baby. As she begs for him to regain consciousness, she breaks down in tears. Suddenly, Arman’s condition worsens, and the doctor asks Abhira to step outside.
Abhira and Ruhi grow increasingly anxious about Rohit and Arman’s deteriorating health. The doctor says that their conditions are getting better. In the meantime, the Poddars are confronted by the spirit of Rohit.
Arman sees Rohit and asks him if he is leaving them. He tells Rohit to keep fighting for his life and remain strong. However, Rohit solemnly replies that his time is up.
Arman insists that Vidya has been praying for them, and if Rohit gives up, she will lose faith in her prayers. He points out that Kaveri is also breaking down in despair. Arman is reassured by Rohit that he is not really leaving them and will always be remembered by them. Arman is devastated and begs Rohit to stay. Rohit entrusts Arman with the responsibility of being the family’s pillar of strength. He asks him to care for Ruhi and Daksh and to tell the babies his stories. Arman begs Rohit to stay and refuses to accept his fate. Arman agrees to hug Rohit one final time. Arman initially resists, but they eventually share an emotional hug. Rohit tells Arman that his time is up with a heavy heart. Arman wakes up at that moment and thinks of Rohit.
Abhira joyfully announces that Arman has regained consciousness. She reassures Ruhi to stay hopeful, believing that Rohit will wake up too. However, Rohit takes his last breath. Vidya bursts into tears. When the Poddars find out that Rohit has passed away, they are shocked. Ruhi is devastated as she recalls her interactions with Rohit. She recalls their conversations about growing old together. Upon returning to the present, Ruhi refuses to accept Rohit’s passing. She tells everyone that Rohit had said he would take her on a trip after the baby was born. She insists that Rohit cannot leave her alone, brokenhearted. Abhir and Abhira support Ruhi in her grief.
